What are the minimum requirements to use ChartsConnect?
- Internet connection
- TradingView account (for alerts)
- MT5 terminal (for Forex execution)
- VPS recommended for uninterrupted trade execution
Do I need to install any software?
Yes — if executing trades via Forex, install the ChartsConnect EA inside MT5. The web platform itself is fully browser-based.
What is an Automation (Algo) in the platform?
An Automation is a workflow that connects signal sources to execution engines through tokens.
How do I create my first automation?
Go to Dashboard → click Create New Algo → enter strategy name → select Source = TradingView → select Send-To Target = Forex → Save → create EA Token → copy Master Token webhook.
Can I use MT4 with ChartsConnect?
Yes — both default MetaTrader and broker-branded MT4/MT5 builds are supported.
However:
- Always use the most recent version to avoid compatibility issues
- Some older broker builds may restrict algo trading
If you face problems, download the latest MT5 from your broker or official MetaQuotes.
